Fort Pickens

Fee Free Week for National Parks Week was from Saturday April 17 through Sunday April 25. And we took advantage of it. I haven't been out to Fort Pickens since we moved here and have really been wanting to go. It was so beautiful. All of these images were taken within the gates of the park.

Hurricane damage is still evident...even in this paradise.

This was massively tall. Very intimidating. Dangerous.Tall. Slippery. Deep slants.

Now I'm showing you this next picture so you really know what a wimp I am. I was scared to death, then turned around and saw these kids climbing all over it. So embarrassing. But, I climbed had it never the less.
