The Auggie Doggie
A trip to the Auggie Doggie, as D fondly refers to St. Augustine. Have I mentioned that I heart St. Auggie? Each time we venture in I become more and more enamored with it. It is becoming a thing of concern. Anyway...like I was saying. A jaunt into St. Auggie. We did not really have a particular destination in mind. Other than breakfast. And that wasn't decided until well into the trip. But we did happen to stop, somewhere in the morning, at the beach. St. Augustine Beach. Not the most beautiful beach in the world, but a beach none the less. And, for you St. Augustine Beach people...what happened to the beach? Someone told me that after the last full moon it disappeared. And it is true. Once where beach goers strolled and sunbathed, it is now ocean. No beach. The water is crashing on the rocks by the wall. I hope the earth does another flip flop and the beach returns.
At the beach I saw an RV. So, Nikki, this is for you...and all your love for anything RV. It was old. Ratty. Tacky. All that you hold dear to your heart. And it was beautiful.
We drove on, into a little neighborhood and saw a pretty little dock. And then home we went.
