The world is quiet here

The Palafox Market is a sweet little Saturday morning getaway. While it is not as active as my beloved farmers market in St. Augustine, it seems to be gaining steam each week.

There is a different feeling among the vendors here. The lady selling these beautiful glasses was a bit worried about why I was taking pictures. I explained that is what I like to do. Take pictures.

I don't ever remember such questions in the Auggie market. But, they had the St. Augustine attitude...laid back and easy. And when I took pictures there, I was always greeted with a "Good morning!" They embraced the fact that I took pictures, and looked forward to seeing them.

Perhaps, after some time, they will become accustomed to me. And my picture taking. I certainly hope so. It will make going to the market so much more fun!
