I have never heard a more eloquent silence

Although I do love photographing the beach, I have a special fondness for the harbor at Joe Patti's. There is a quiet stillness about it. It is forever changing...yet always the same. I can count on pelicans and seagulls. Docked boats. Weathered piers. And Miss Ann.

There is a fruit stand in front of Joe Patty's. It had the most wonderful sweet corn. And these peaches made the most perfect peach cobbler. I did make a declaration after eating the corn. I could eat sweet corn everyday for the rest of my life and be happy happy happy.

I guess by now you have figured out that I love this boat. It is so blue. And so terribly perfect in a very old "I've been around a long time" way. Rust and peeling paint.

It also seems I couldn't stay away from the peaches. The colors and the aroma of them were addicting.
