To the market....and beyond
Today I wanted to go to the market to ask Sarah of Pockets of Sage to custom make a tripod carrier bag for me. I took my tripod to her booth she measured it up and I picked a pretty canvas fabric. It should be ready next week.
The market was buzzing this week. Hardly any room to park in the lot! And this is parking for the amphitheater!! So, it was fun people watching and picture taking.
After we left the market, we went to the fish market and picked up some shrimp for supper. After lunch at Flavors, I did a little walk around to the local shops.
After looking in a few really cute shops we headed home. This was in front of us. I snapped it for Nikki. It is her dream vehicle!
"4000 babies aborted everyday in America."
I normally don't put my feelings on this subject out there. But I drove past this abortion 'cemetery' at the Prince of Peace Church in St. Augustine, and had to take a photo.
Let me say that I did not always feel this way. Meaning Pro Life. When I was younger I was very much Pro Choice. But, life has a way of molding you and your beliefs. I became a nurse somewhere along the way. Not only a nurse, but a nurse that worked in the Operating Room.
One hospital I worked in did abortions. They let the nurses accept or decline being assigned to work in a room when an abortion was being performed due to strong feelings that surround abortions. Since I was Pro Choice, I didn't mind. So, I witnessed a few abortions. I was forever changed.
I will leave it at that.
