Beach Road Chicken Dinners
What is better than a home fried chicken dinner on Sunday? I'll tell you what. When someone else fries it! They bring out a platter of crispy fried chicken, bowls of creamy cole slaw, mashed potatoes, gravy, creamed peas and biscuits with butter and honey. I now know why Southern Living voted them the best fried chicken in the south. The Washington Post even did an article on them.
Sorry I didn't get a picture of the food. But I was entirely too excited!

I love old diners, classic places that stick to what they know. Good for them.
Your pictures of the inside is beautiful. We don!t have any old diners, but we do have an old Drive Up, they just reopened last summer after painting and putting more order units outside, it reminds you of the fifties.
