Our beach...

Many of these images were taken last week and some from Mother's Day. I went out to the beach with Nikki after work. I had been so upset all day. Each time I took a break, the TV was talking about the oil spill being only miles from our shore. I had to go. And so did many others. To feel. To smell. To see. To experience.

For those of you that have been wondering. The tar balls have since started washing up on shore. Maybe I will go out today. *sigh*

I really hope to see many many days of this. People enjoying the beach. Relaxing. Splashing. Walking. Just soaking it all in. It is so good for the soul. It fills you up...
