Polar Bear Plunge, Pensacola 01/01/11
Every year there is a New Year's Day tradition on Pensacola Beach...the Polar Bear Plunge. We went to watch this year. Did not take the plunge, but enjoyed watching.
I wondered how it would occur. As it turned out, all the 'plungers' went to the end of the dock and jumped in and swam to shore.
This was one group... |
...and this was another. |
We had to walk behind this motel to get to the plunge |
