In & Out...St. Auggie

Nikki and I did a quick trip into the Auggie Doggie to hunt the Wild Main Blueberry Pancakes at Cracker Barrel and then on to the farmers market. So we got up early, bagged the pancakes, shopped at their country store (see the last photo for my Christmas Peace sign) and then went on to the farmers market...with only one detour at a huge sidewalk sale.

Later we went back into town (I know...sigh) with D for dinner and to see the Christmas lights. We dined at Flavors Eatery...a quirky little place that has outstanding food.

A full day in the Auggie Doggie

Nikki and I had our first day in St. Augustine. And it was a loooooong day. We started at the Farmers Market, ate burritos out of a trailer (don't judge us), went to...not one, but two...thrift stores, a fund-raising yardsale for breast cancer, ate dinner at A1A Ale Works and then watched the Night of Lights!

OK...now with the pictures. Starting with the farmers market...it was enchanting! There was even a Pie Baking Contest with proceeds going to the Humane Society.

A chilly morning in St.. Augustine

It is fall, after all. So I guess it is not unreasonable to expect a little chill now and then. But, darn. That doesn't mean I have to like it. And it seems that St. Augustine can't decide if it should be winter, spring, summer or fall. I saw delicate little flowers, red winter berries, pumpkin displays and lizards & cats sunning themselves.
