Hot Morning...Cool Water

Mickler's Landing was our destination today. Got up early to beat the heat. It didn't work. It was still hot. And once again, we had a Beach Bucky disaster. (If you don't recall, Beach Bucky is our water container...our lifeline to longetivity on the beach.) Bucky took an early tumble, and we lost all of our water for the day. And only minutes after arriving.

We stayed as long as we could without hydration, and then went home before we passed out.

St. Augustine Beach

St. Augustine Beach was our destination this morning, plus breakfast out. We drove down A1A hoping to find a little place open for breakfast. We really hit the jackpot...Cafe 11. We lucked out and had a tasty little breakfast buffet.

After filling our tummies, we ventured to the beach. Like all beaches, this one had it's own vibe. More laid back and country. If a beach can be considered country.

We didn't stay at the beach long...didn't wear our swim suits. Sigh. So I didn't take as many pictures today. Maybe next time we will be more prepared!
